Just over two weeks ago we at camp had the amazing opportunity to host the CCFA (Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America) camp oasis of 2013. We had so much fun doing so many activities. From archery to climbing to the giant swing and the water front, the week was packed with so much fun, there was never a dull moment. We even had a rock star at camp!! Mike McCready, the lead guitarist from pearl jam was here. He was here to answer questions the kids had, and was a real inspiration. We also had so many fantastic volunteers from the counselors to the huge medical staff that was here for the entire week. It was so awesome seeing these kids, that live with such a painful disease, have huge smiles and have so much fun. I never once, that entire week, saw a single kid complain. It was truly life changing spending a week with such great kids. Heres a link to a short slide show we put together from that week. Enjoy!!!
