The 100-Days Countdown!

We are well on our way to our summer centennial celebrations in Fauntleroy and at Camp Colman this July.

Sponsor a day of The Countdown for a $100 contribution to the new Alumni Endowment Fund for Camp Colman facilities. We know that an endowment is a key way to ensure the financial stability of our wonderful camp well into the next 100 years. Email Magill to join the countdown and sponsor a day!

Here are the first dedications. Subsequent dedications will continue to be posted every week or so. Each day you will find the dedication on the YMCA Camp Colman Facebook page, and they will all be printed together this summer in a simple format.

• Today’s day sponsors are Steve, Sarah and Anya Lewis. In classic closing campfire style, they dedicate today to “Satsuma, Counselors and the Giant Swing.”
• The Trigg Family, Jamie, Beth, Ben, and Bobby, dedicate today to: Those Colman staff and Campers who have helped build our foundation over the years.
• Steve, Becky, Kayleigh & Mackenna Cameron dedicate today to: The Colman/Pierce Family, Board Members, Directors, Staff, Leaders and anyone who made a difference in a Colman Camper’s life.
• Anne Jozaitis-Hole dedicates today to: The priceless lessons learned and the lifelong friendships developed at Camp Colman.
• Jim & Peg Murray dedicate today to the volunteers who served on the Fauntleroy Center board and provided instrumental leadership to Camp Colman
• Tom, Suzy, Andy, and Oliver Dirks dedicate today to our grandparents, parents, and children that have made Camp Colman what it is today.
• Today's honorary dedication is to the Honor Campers of the original Camp Colman at Horsehead Bay. The honor camper was voted on by the other campers and staff and received a canoe paddle as part of their recognition.
• Susan and Magill Dickerson-Lange dedicate today to Nat Lange & this generation of campers.
• Andrea Escame-Hedger dedicates today to life-long friendships and priceless memories (dead skunk, the black lagoon, spitting around the world, the ivy forest, the watermelon race, tell me why led by George Nichols)

• Connor (5) and Carson (4 today) Murray, future campers, dedicate today to the A, B, C’s of Camp Colman: A=Adventure & “awesome rope swing,” B=Blackberries “so yummy,” C=Campfires “s’more please”.
